This map has a lot of detail, making it very easy to find things. I love that it is waterproof and very durable. Definetly a keeper.

Must-have for driving around Costa Rica May 19, 2010 purpleradio (LA, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We used this map for driving from the airport to Arenal to Tamarindo to Manuel Antonio to San Jose in 10 days. Essential for getting around as the signage is very poor. The street signs on major roads direct drivers to large towns and sometimes include the numbers of the major roads too. In smaller areas, the signs only point to towns. We didn't rent a GPS and just used this map. The map was also helpful since it labeled various hotels, restaurants, and activities that are available at different sites. This was great since we didn't book all of the hotels beforehand and just drove to different hotels to find a place to stay.
I didn't find any major errors on this map when we were driving. There were only very minor errors such as hotels along the road to Manuel Antonio were not in the correct order. We only were lost once, and that was b/c there was a turnoff we were looking for that was very difficult to see. Using the map though, we quickly realized we were off track and asked for directions.
Overall great buy!
Costa Rica Map May 15, 2010 Nirmalya Parua (Bolingbrook, Illinois) The map is very detailed, and nice. Only problem is, the roads in Costa Rica are not marked well. I was not able to use this map very much, instead I used GPS. To me it is not all that
useful on the road, so I put 4 start. But as a map this is as good as it can be.
Fabulous map! May 2, 2010 The Reader (Park City, Utah) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
