I enjoyed the product, especially after reading other reviews. Good battery life. Only disappontment is it is hard to slow fast-forward via remote, seems to only like to skip to next chapter...not slow motion move forward.

Portable but with plenty of screen for two kids. Two earphone ports a must - sound is good, but with earphones it is great. Better than all our computers and laptop by far. Picture is amazing.

We purchased this unit in June 2008 because of the stated battery life--5 hours. This is twice as long as the other units in which we were interested. After a few months of almost no use I noticed that the battery will not hold a charge for more than 48 hours. I chalked the first time this happened up to user error. I figured that I left it on on accident adn it finished a DVD then died. But, after fully charging the unit through the AC adapter (until the light turns green)and turning it on for the first time after 48 hours, the battery icon indicated one cell left.
I called LG today to see about getting the battery replaced. I was informed that the warranty lasts 90 days and parts and labor are covered for 1 year. LG told me that they would exchange my DVD player for a new one for $45.00 as they do not fix units--rather they charge their customers more money to have what should have been sent to them in the first place sent again.
Needless to say, I am very dissatisfied. A company that will not stand by their product for more than 90 days is a company I need to do business with much less.

We bought this for our 12 hour trip to Florida to keep our 22 month old from being bored in the car--- WHAT A LIFESAVER! Highly recommend this product.

This is a very nice player, clear picture, and easily accessed functions. Has a nice-sized viewing screen also. Would definitely buy this one again!
