These are much thicker than the Lewis n Clark brand, and seem like they will hold up for many uses. Easier to compress these as well.

I bought these to take with us on a recent cruise and I love them! Packing for a cruise can be stressful, because you have thousands of things to pack for daily wear, evening wear, swimwear, etc., and I am not a light packer. These were a wonderful addition to our trip. Although, I would have ordered more larger bags, these worked really well and they were also handy for dirty laundry on the return trip.

I have yet to try these bags, but I did not read the description close enough. This package is (2) bags total; one large, one medium. The image shows a large "S" for small and the image in the back shows a L, an M, and an S which I took to mean a large, a medium and a small. The medium barely squeezes into my 21 inch carry on, the large is many inches too long. Yes, I do not have to fill the L bag all the way, but I actually wanted the small sized bag. My error for not paying better attention to the description. Read the description closely to see what you get and do not rely on the images of the product. I submitted a complaint on the image, hopefully Amazon will update it with the correct image. The product itself seems farily durable and I will use the medium bag in an upcoming trip and see if it is better then the name brand compression bags, as my name brand bags seem to loose their vacuum and are harder to "roll" closed.

I was dubious when I bought these, as questioned whether could really work very well with just manually squeezing out the air. But worked like a charm! I used it to compress a twin size air mattress in the "large" size which easily reduced the size by over half. Also used the "medium" size for a queen-size blanket which also worked wonderfully. Highly recommend these if you want to squeeze more stuff into a smaller suitcase.

These bags are fantastic! Very easy to use, and they do exactly what you need them to do. Compress large bulky items into smaller compressed and sealed ones. You pack them, seal them, and then roll them to release all air, and bada bing, bada boom! You're ready to go!
